It is a proud moment for Telugu film industry. Bahubali actor Prabhas’ wax statue will soon be installed at the famous Madame Tussauds museum in Bangkok.Prabhas is the first South Indian actor to be immortalized with a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum.
Now, Prabhas will join the likes of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi(PM Narendra Modi’s wax statue that was installed in April 2016).“Bahubali” director SS Rajamouli took to Twitter to break the news.His figure resembling his character of Amarendra Bahubali in Baahubali:The Begining will be unveiled at the museum Tussauds.
Rajamouli on Twitter as he posted,”Very happy to announce that Madame Tussauds is making a wax statue of our PRABHAS..First South Indian to be honored thus.The statue will be unveiled at Bangkok in March 2017 and subsequently will be toured all over the world”.
The second installment of Baahubali is being made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, and it will reach the screens on April 28, 2017.
Apart from Prabhas other Indian actors to have their wax statue at Madame Tussauds are Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Katrina Kaif.
