China’s record-breaking bridge is again open to tourists

The world’s longest and highest glass bridge, which opened earlier this year before shutting down after just 13 days of operation, is set to reopen after subsequent safety tests.

Crossing over the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area in China’s Hunan Province, the bridge spans a length of 1,410 feet with a width of 20 feet.

The management committee has installed a monitoring system to help control the number of people visiting the bridge, as well as preparing for a free shuttle bus service to the attraction, which is set to reopen on September 30, according to China Daily.
