Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Shekar Rao initiated holds meeting with TRS party leaders over a formation of new districts.On Sunday, the chief minister met with the party leaders from Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Nizamabad, and Medak. Today(03-10-2016) the second day, the CM KCR takes inputs from party representatives from Karimnagar, Warangal, Adilabad, Khammam, and Hyderabad.In this meeting KCR green signals to form Sirsilla a new district.It includes 13 mandals. KCR also moves positively towards to form Janagaon and Gadwal districts.

By mid-2017, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will have much better road connectivity. The Dhola-Sadiya bridge on Brahmaputra, which will be the longest bridge in India when completed, will cut down the travel time between the two states by four hours. The initiative is one step closer to completion, as the road ministry has given clearance to provide compensation to property owners in order to get the land for the two-kilometre stretch of road leading up to the bridge from Sadiya, Assam. The 9.15-kilometer bridge will be 3.55 kilometers longer than the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai making it the longest bridge in India. NEW DELHI: Visitors to Parliament House complex would henceforth not be able to take photographs or shoot a video. An order to this effect has been brought in force through a recent circular. In the circular, Yogesh Deshmukh, Joint Secretary (Security), Parliament House, has said the complex is "one of the most threatened places" in the country. The order prohibits photography and shooting of videos in the complex by visitors, officers and staff of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariat, and allied agencies. Prohibiting photography and video recording is part of the "strategic security arrangements", he said. Today(31-08-16) petrol prices hiked Rs 3.38 and Diesel up by Rs 2.67 per litre.Revised rates will take effect from midnight. In the International market, crude oil prices will have witnessed a steep increase by 13 per cent during the current fortnight,compared to a previous fortnight,with a corresponding increase in the international prices of petroleum products. Fuel prices were last revised on August 16 when petrol was made cheaper by Rs 1 a litre and diesel by Rs 2 per litre.
