The capital city of India,Delhi has done it again. A 21-year-old girl died after being stabbed repeatedly by a stalker on Tuesday(20-09-16) morning at 9am in full crowded public place and no one came forward to stop him. The woman has stabbed nearly 28 times publicly in Burari area North Delhi. The Woman. identified as Karuna and she was a private school teacher at Novel Reaches School.
The accused 34-year-old Surender Singh was chased and nabbed by the local people before being handed over to the police who arrested him.
The assailant had been harassing the woman for the last one year.Karuna’s family had registered a complaint five months ago and both the families had reached a compromise,said Esha Pandey, Additional DCP (North).According to the police, the assailant owns a shop and his divorce case was going on.
The total incident caught on camera.While a couple of men did try to get near the assailant to try and stop him, they eventually backed off fearing their own lives.
“The man was harassing my sister for a long time. He stays in Rohini. We had registered a complaint after which he had calmed down until now,” ANI quoted the victim’s brother as saying.
